Review
Appupdater is a nice system management application for Windows. The application allows you to keep all your software up-to-date by telling you when a new version of an application you already have is released. The application works great and has many features, but there is one flaw that I can't deny. Appupdater works with a pre-loaded list of applications. So if you have an application that hasn't been added by the developers, you don't really need this application. Those applications won't even show in your list. Other than that, the application works great for applications on the list. Those will show a version number by them. When an update is published, Appupdater will tell you that there's a new update and you can install it. It also has support for proxy servers. The application will even detect the applications that you previously installed, so when you install a new version, the list will automatically update. You can even create your own software repositories and share them around. The latest version of this application is 1.01. However, this review deals with version 1.0. |
